Hello, thank you for providing your feedback to us! Please be aware that TaxiPass is just a credit card solutions provider for taxi drivers. The taxi's that utilize our services are not owned or managed by us. Taxi fare prices are set by the airport.
The white slip that was provided to you at the taxi dispatch line is a flat rate fee for your destination. However, that cost does not include the following:
- ROUND TRIP TOLLS (all cabs have a notice inside informing passengers that they are responsible for all ROUND TRIP TOLLS)
- Newark EWR Airport is located in New Jersey. Please note that Taxi's to New York City average a cost of $20+
- EXTRA BAGGAGE FEES

- TaxiPass Voucher Fee (please see more info regarding this below)
In Addition, all fares carry with them a nominal fee depending on the market and price of the base fare. This fee is charged to provide both you and the driver with a safe, reliable, and guaranteed transaction. As a 3rd party merchant, we are permitted to charge this fee in all the markets we operate in. We encourage drivers to communicate our fee, but all fees are disclosed on your receipt or on screen of whichever application you interfaced with.
